I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and bring with me over 23 years of teaching experience in IGCSE as well as CBSE. Notably, more than 16 of these years have been dedicated to teaching the UK curriculum, both at the O’ Level and A’ Level. Seasoned and committed Science and Biology teacher with QTS qualification, with over 22 years of excellent expertise in both UK and Indian curricula. I am a distinguished IGCSE O’ Level biology teacher in addition to being a successful primary science educator thanks to my commitment to lifelong study and teaching. My IGCSE O’ Level Fisheries Science pass % was consistently the highest from 2010 to 2013, according to Th. Kandoodhoo School. My perfect score in IGCSE O’ Level Biology in 2017 was recognised by Sh. Feydhoo School. Certificates for attaining flawless 100% scores in multiple biology tests, such as the Edexcel A’ Level Biology in 2021 and the IGCSE O’ Level Biology from 2021 to 2023, were recently given out by L. Isdhoo School. These honours serve as a testament to my dedication to encouraging academic achievement and student development. I am certified in Exam Administration and Active Learning Assessment for Professional Development from Cambridge Assessment International Education. In addition, I attended workshops by Cambridge and finished my ICT in Teaching course with the Ministry of Education, Maldives. The creation of lesson plans, assessment techniques, and assessment and evaluation in differentiated instruction are all covered in my training. In addition, I’ve taken part in a number of conferences and initiatives centred around decision-making, time management, mental health awareness, and student attendance regulations.   As the Head of the Science Department, Exam Coordinator, and Environmental Coordinator, I am pleased to combine my love of science with excellent organisational abilities and a strong dedication to environmental care. Notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I successfully delivered engaging tele-classes on the IGCSE Biology curriculum that were broadcast on Maldives National TV. It’s been a gratifying experience combining creative teaching approaches with a commitment to provide quality education, particularly during difficult circumstances.   I take great pride in combining my love of science with excellent organizational abilities and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability in my jobs as Environmental Coordinator, Examiner, and Head of Science. Through a variety of techniques and the integration of technology, my teaching philosophy places a high priority on student care, adaptability, and an engaging learning environment. It also fosters inclusion and student development through a student-cantered approach.
