Roles & Responsibilities TGT Science & Career Counsellor | Chinmaya Vidyalaya, NTPC Unchahar (2015–Present) - Design and deliver inquiry-based, concept-driven Science instruction for Grades VI–X, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of scientific concepts. - Plan and implement interdisciplinary and project-based learning experiences aligned with environmental sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). - Lead and mentor the Eco-Innovators Project, encouraging students to develop innovative solutions to local and global environmental challenges. - Integrate digital technologies, AI tools, Google Classroom, and other EdTech platforms to enhance teaching, assessment, and student engagement. - Promote 21st-century competencies, including communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, cyber safety, emotional well-being, and life skills through workshops and classroom activities. - Facilitate international collaborations and cross-cultural learning experiences through participation in Generation Global Dialogues, fostering global citizenship and international-mindedness among students. - Serve as a Career Counsellor, guiding students on subject selection, higher education pathways, CUET preparation, and career planning. - Perform responsibilities as CBSE AISSE Additional Head Examiner (Science), ensuring assessment quality, standardisation, and adherence to national evaluation guidelines. - Organise and lead STEM initiatives, science exhibitions, and sustainability projects at school and district levels. - Mentor students for national and regional competitions, including Science Exhibitions, Olympiads, NTSE, and other academic events, resulting in significant achievements and recognition. - Collaborate with school leadership, colleagues, parents, and the wider community to promote holistic education and uphold the values and ethos of the Chinmaya Mission. - Contribute actively to co-curricular programmes, value-based education, service-learning initiatives, and school events, supporting students' overall personality development.
