Expression of interest for Science or Biology Teaching position Respected Principal, I am writing today in application for a Biology Teaching position in your School. I am confident that my Subject knowledge, Teaching Skills as well as my experience in Teaching and leadership skills makes me an excellent fit for the Teaching position in your organisation. I have 10+ years of teaching and leadership experience handling science, Environmental science, geography and Biology for primary, middle and high school students. I worked as a coordinator of science and biology teacher handling for O and A level students under Ministry of education schools, Maldives. As a coordinator of science, I conduct meetings with my science colleagues to design an effective lesson plan with the strategies that works well for all the students in the class and benefit enormously in learning. Recently, I worked as head of biology department and Biology Facilitator in one of the reputed institutions in Chennai, India. I also volunteered Bicocca University Italy in preserving the coral reefs in Maldives and worked with Education Minister Dr. Aishath Ali in designing science curriculum which paved me the way to receive Asian Education award for Excellence in Science Teaching. As my attached resume outlines, I have 10+ years of experience working in the Teaching field and 5 years of experience in leadership skills. I am confident I can achieve great results for your School. I am an excellent communicator and good team workers, attributes I know are important to your organization. As a teacher and leader, I keep channels of communication to each student parents clear by meeting them on a regular basis to discuss about their progress, grades, achievement and behaviour. This has helped me to improve their performance. My ultimate goal is to promote learning and my short term goal is to be in a responsible position in a reputed organisation.
