As a PGT Geography teacher, I strive to create an engaging, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment where learners are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, analyse geographical phenomena, and connect classroom concepts with real-world situations. I believe in using diverse teaching methodologies such as maps, diagrams, case studies, field-based learning, technology, GIS, current affairs, and competency-based activities to make learning meaningful and experiential. My goal is to nurture responsible and environmentally conscious citizens who can understand global challenges and contribute positively to society. Career Objectives: To contribute effectively to the academic growth and overall development of students through innovative and learner-centred teaching practices. To help students develop a strong conceptual foundation in Geography and prepare them effectively for CBSE board examinations and competitive examinations. To promote critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, environmental awareness, and geographical reasoning among learners. To actively contribute to the school's academic, co-curricular, quiz, club, and interdisciplinary activities while supporting the institution's vision and educational goals. Key Strengths: Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity in Physical, Human, and Indian Geography. Effective classroom management and student engagement skills. Ability to simplify complex geographical concepts through maps, diagrams, examples, and real-life applications. Proficiency in developing CBSE-aligned lesson plans, assessments, competency-based questions, and learning activities. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Effective use of digital tools, multimedia resources, presentations, and technology-enabled teaching. Ability to identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
