Meenakshi Mani

My name is Meenakshi Mani. I have completed my M.Sc. in Life Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and my B.Sc. in Microbiology from the University of Mumbai. I am also pursuing a B.Ed. from the University of Mumbai, which has further strengthened my understanding of teaching methodologies and classroom management. I have 8 years of teaching experience. I taught at Sandeep Science Academy from 2016 to 2021 and later at Aakash Institute, Nerul from 2021 to 2024. During this time, I taught Biology and guided students in building strong conceptual understanding while preparing them for competitive examinations. Apart from teaching, I have a strong academic and research background. I have qualified IIT-JAM, JNU Entrance Examination, GATE, and CSIR-NET (Category 3). I also secured a Gold Medal in the State-Level Microbiology Olympiad. My dissertation focused on molecular biology, and I am a co-author of a peer-reviewed research paper published by Elsevier. I am skilled in laboratory techniques such as spectrophotometry, gel electrophoresis, microscopy, microbiological techniques, and molecular biology experiments. These skills help me connect theoretical concepts with practical applications while teaching. As a teacher, I believe in creating an interactive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing critical thinking. I am patient, self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to helping every student achieve their full potential. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.
