My teaching philosophy emphasizes student-centered learning, where I believe in making complex biological concepts accessible and relatable to students. With my education background—holding a B.Ed and M.Sc. in Biotechnology—and practical teaching experience since 2016, I aim to foster a stimulating learning environment. I believe every student has the potential to grasp scientific ideas when they see the real-world applications of what they learn. For example, during my tenure at Udaan Education Society, I incorporated hands-on experiments that linked theoretical knowledge to actual biological phenomena, enhancing student engagement and understanding. I focus on making lessons interactive and allowing students to lead discussions. This not only develops their communication skills but also builds confidence in their ability to articulate complex ideas. Through this interactive approach, I empower students to become self-directed learners who are genuinely curious and motivated to explore biology further. My previous experience working with students preparing for NEET reinforced the importance of understanding diverse learning needs. I implement differentiated instruction techniques to cater to all learning styles, thus ensuring that every student progresses at their own pace. Additionally, I believe in continuous feedback, providing regular assessments and adapting my teaching methods based on students’ responses. This three-pronged strategy—focusing on student engagement, adaptability, and continuous improvement—has proven effective in facilitating in-depth understanding and academic success in biology.
