Debabrata Biswas

I am an experienced Senior Mathematics Faculty with over 15 years of teaching experience in the IIT-JEE coaching industry, spanning both offline and online education platforms. I hold a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (2005) from a Government Engineering College, and bring a strong analytical and problem-solving background to my teaching methodology. Since 2008, I have been actively involved in the competitive exam coaching ecosystem, working with some of India’s most reputed institutions, including Career Point (Kota), Aakash IIT-JEE, Brilliant Tutorials, Narayana and PhysicsWallah. My role as a Senior Mathematics Faculty has involved mentoring students for high-stakes national examinations, curriculum design, academic planning, and delivering result-oriented instruction in both classroom and digital formats. I have over 4 years of online teaching experience, during which I have effectively adapted pedagogy for virtual learning environments, leveraging technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Data Science and programming from IIT Madras. I have successfully completed the Foundation Level, gaining strong proficiency in Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Thinking, and Python Programming. This ongoing academic journey allows me to integrate data-driven thinking and modern computational tools into my teaching approach. In addition to my academic and teaching background, I possess deep insight into the JEE-NEET coaching industry and School Integrated Program (SIP) particularly in Kolkata and across West Bengal, with a strong understanding of student demographics, institutional operations, academic trends, and digital transformation in education. I am passionate about concept-driven teaching, mentoring, and continuous learning, and I aim to bridge traditional pedagogy with modern data-centric and technology-enabled education.
