Nishant Vinayak Gupta

My professional experience to date embraces a variety of learning environments and students. As a result, I have gained the ability to develop my practice as an IT teacher and create a welcoming, positive and rich learning environment; where every student matters, participates and learns how to think independently. As an educator, my personal characteristic is to go above and beyond to facilitate the integration of information technology - both inside and outside the classroom.   Currently, I am working at Pavna International School as Head of ICT/Computing. In my previous role, I was teaching at Delhi Public School, Aligarh as HOD Computer Science. Also, I effectively worked in VidyaGyan School,Sitapur & The Sagar School, Alwar as PGT Computer Science and as IT Faculty at The Scindia School, Gwalior. There, as part of my role, I have created and developed teaching and learning resources, schemes of work, department policies and provided support for the members of my department through performance management. As a faculty, I intend to focus on a high standard of teaching and quality learning. l am confident that with the experience that I possess students will be engaged thoroughly and will be provided access to authentic real-world experiences, whilst at the same time cultivating students’ key critical thinking and communications skills.   In totality I will be able to relay the importance of IT as a subject and develop interest in the subject for future and further study.   I work well as part of a team and regularly strive to support all colleagues through tools such as sharing good practice and learning from others. I possess strong instructional and classroom management skills, which I also like to help to instill in others. For the next step in my career, I am now seeking a position where I can accept new challenges and continue growing professionally and personally.
