Sambit Bhattacharjee

My name is Sambit Bhattacharjee, currently pursuing my Master of Physical Education from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, North East Regional Centre, Guwahati. I have completed my Bachelor of Physical Education from Jadavpur University and my B.A./B.Sc. (Honours) in Physical Education from Visva-Bharati, securing first-class in both degrees. Along with my academic qualifications, I hold NCC ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ Certificates (Grade B, JUO rank) and a Diploma in Physiotherapy and Activity Therapy. I have also qualified Bihar STET, which strengthens my eligibility for teaching at the senior secondary level. I have practical experience through a six-week internship at Krishnapur High School (H.S) and have officiated in KVS Regional Meets and district-level annual sports events. These experiences have enhanced my organizational, leadership, and management skills, which are essential for conducting school sports programs effectively. As an active sportsperson, I have represented in All India Inter University Athletics (Half Marathon), All India Inter Zonal University American Football Championship (Flag Football), and West Bengal State Wushu Championships (Sanda, 65 kg category). My involvement in multiple sports enables me to guide students across a wide range of activities. Additionally, I have actively participated in national and international seminars and presented research papers on topics such as indigenous games, AI in sports performance, and yoga for mental health and longevity. This reflects my commitment to continuous learning and academic growth. I am confident that my academic background, practical experience, and passion for physical education will allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your institution.
