Sathyashree K.S

I am Sathyashree K.S, a dedicated artist and teacher with a deep passion for working with children. With seven years of experience at Samvida, an alternative learning space, I have had the opportunity to meaningfully integrate theatre and language through various projects. My work involved designing and facilitating creative learning modules where children explored stories, concepts, and values through performance, movement, and expressive arts. Over the years, I have also conducted numerous theatre workshops for children focusing on confidence building, voice and movement, storytelling, and collaborative creation. These workshops have not only nurtured children’s artistic expression but have also empowered them with essential life skills such as empathy, communication, and teamwork. In addition, I have collaborated closely with educators to develop curriculum based on Theatre-in-Education (TiE) methodologies, ensuring that learning is experiential, joyful, and inclusive.
