I am a dedicated and creative educator with over 17 years of professional teaching experience in IGCSE secondary school settings. I hold a Master’s Degree in Commerce (Finance) from the University of Calicut and a Bachelor’s Degree in Teacher Training, with a specialization in Education.
Currently, I serve as a Business Teacher under the Ministry of Education, Republic of Maldives, where I deliver the IGCSE curriculum to secondary school students. My subjects include Business Studies, Accounting, and Commerce. Previously, as a College Lecturer at the Co-operative College of Arts and Science, I taught Business Management, Management Accounting, and Financial Accounting to undergraduate students.
My teaching philosophy centers on student empathy and engagement. I understand that business-related subjects can be challenging, so I strive to create an inclusive learning environment that blends traditional theories with modern concepts. By incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, I help students appreciate the practical relevance of the subject and how it shapes their futures.
My goal is to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential by connecting classroom learning with real-world applications.
