I believe good teaching begins with curiosity and ends with independence. My role is not just to teach a subject, but to help learners make connections, question ideas and find meaning in what they learn. I combine high expectations with empathy, using different curricula and teaching approaches to meet learners where they are and move them forward. For me, success is when students no longer need the teacher to tell them what to think, but have the confidence and skills to think for themselves.
