Dear Sir/Madam,   With over 15 years of hands-on, successful teaching experience, I am confident in my ability and passion to become a positive addition to your school community as an English Teacher. As you will see in the enclosed resume I have earned a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication, as well as gained - Certification in Computers, Examiner for English as a First Language, Examiner for Cambridge English as a Second Language Oral Speaking Component, Lectureship status in India, Cambridge Teacher’s Training Diploma, IBDP English B Cat 2 and IBDP English A Lang and Lit. Cat. 2. I have also taught MYP before and am well-versed in the IB curriculum. Being a versatile individual, I have had the opportunity to teach students who functioned below, on, and above grade level. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualized and extracurricular support, and integrating effective materials.   Being the Head of Department previously, I led and developed members of the faculty. I also stayed abreast of current trends and thinking in education, especially in regard to teaching and learning. I always contribute broadly to the school's educational environment and actively participate in the school’s Professional Development Program. I always am supportive of the ethos and values of the School.   Being the Head of Standards and Assessment previously, I assisted the Heads of Secondary and High Schools in the formulation, review, and implementation of school policies in terms of examinations. I also conducted the annual evaluation of the Cambridge Primary and Secondary Programme and IGCSE and Co-ordinated exams and supported senior management in framing and implementing a suitable timetable and in the allocation of teaching to the programme I encourage learning by using several different manipulatives, hands-on activities, and various forms of technology. By incorporating class discussions, open-ended questions, and cooperative learning I can facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive class atmosphere. In addition, I utilize weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, locate areas of weakness, and prepare students for final exams.   Being a hardworking and well-rounded educator, I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how my extensive experience, collaborative nature, and innovative classroom skills would benefit your English programme.
