Yogesh Wayal

Respected Madam/Sir, GREETINGS OF THE DAY Hello, I’m Yogesh wayal, and I’m presently teaching the international curriculum (Cambridge, IBDP) as a Physical Educator at DY patil International School. My journey began as a young student who picked up taekwondo as a hobby, a reason to be fit. With time and the guidance of my coach, I immersed myself completely into the world of discipline and power packed kicks of the game. Driven by my passion I soon started playing tournaments at the state and eventually the national level as well. It was a game changing experience of my life that moulded my personality and mindset. I soon decided to pursue a career in the field of takewondo and sports fitness. I completed my double graduation bachelors in Health and physical education. Restless and hungry to learn more, I completed my masters in physical education. I had completed multiple prerequisite certifications and licenses required to practice the sport as a professional coach and referee. I was absolutely grateful to have been exposed to the Cambridge International Assessment Curriculum for Physical Education. I got myself trained and taught the course at an international school for 5 years. Prior to that I had a work experience of 1 years of teaching physical education in other schools where I had the opportunity of teaching badminton, football, basketball, handball, throwball, table tennis and various other drills in addition to my core game, taekwondo. I have had the privilege to travel across India coaching and mentoring players at the state, national and international level. Having come this far, I know I won’t settle for less. I have hence sucessfully sought my admission for my PhD in physical education with a specialization in Taekwondo The goal being to understand and cater to the needs of my students and top players with a more precise and accurate approach. I am looking for opportunities within the global community where I can further upskill and expose myself to practices, games and strategies used at the international level. The sports and fitness industry is a ever evolving and revolutionizing industry and I am proud to belong to this community of professionals who are making health and fitness an essential non-negotiable commodity that is accessible to all.   Regards Yogesh 9869713895
