Job Description – PRT Hindi Teacher

Position: PRT – Hindi Department: Primary Institution: Birla Open Minds International School, Proddatur

Key Responsibilities

Teach Hindi effectively using interactive, child-centred and activity-based teaching methodologies.

Develop students' proficiency in Hindi reading, writing, speaking, listening and comprehension.

Teach Hindi alphabets (स्वर एवं व्यंजन), matras, vocabulary, sentence formation and basic grammar.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids and assessments in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

Make Hindi learning interesting through stories, poems, rhymes, role plays, games and classroom activities.

Monitor students' academic progress and provide individual attention and remedial support wherever necessary.

Maintain students' notebooks, academic records, assessment reports and other documentation.

Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Communicate and coordinate with parents, colleagues and the academic team regarding students' progress.

Participate in school events, meetings, training programmes and other academic responsibilities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Graduate with Hindi as a subject.

B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. qualification preferred.

Strong command of Hindi language, grammar and pronunciation.

Prior experience as a PRT Hindi Teacher preferred.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Proficiency in activity-based and child-centred teaching methods.

Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
