Job description

Job Purpose

To strengthen student admissions for the academic session 2027–2028 by identifying prospective families, counselling parents and students, conducting school outreach activities and converting enquiries into confirmed admissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement admission strategies to achieve annual enrolment targets.
  • Counsel parents and students regarding academics, residential facilities, school infrastructure, fee structure and extracurricular activities.
  • Generate admission enquiries through school visits, telephone calls, WhatsApp, digital campaigns and local outreach.
  • Establish contacts with feeder schools, educational institutions, tuition centres and community organisations.
  • Organise admission campaigns, school presentations, parent interactions and campus visits.
  • Follow up systematically with prospective parents from the initial enquiry to final admission.
  • Promote the school across Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra, particularly in border regions and nearby towns.
  • Maintain accurate enquiry databases, follow-up records, admission reports and conversion statistics.
  • Coordinate with the Principal, administration and marketing team to achieve admission targets.
  • Provide regular reports on enquiries, campus visits, confirmed admissions and campaign performance.

Eligibility and Desired Profile

  • Graduate in any discipline; candidates with qualifications in education, management, marketing or public relations will be preferred.
  • Prior experience in school admissions, educational counselling, marketing or student recruitment is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and convincing skills.
  • Proficiency in Kannada, English and Hindi; Marathi, Telugu or other regional languages will be an advantage.
  • Basic computer skills, MS Office, Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business and digital lead management.
  • Willingness to travel for school visits, admission campaigns and parent meetings.
  • Ability to work independently, meet targets and maintain professional relationships.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of qualified admission enquiries generated.
  • Number of parent counselling sessions and campus visits.
  • Enquiry-to-admission conversion rate.
  • Number of confirmed admissions and completed fee payments.
  • Outreach activities completed in target regions.
  • Accuracy of admission records and regularity of follow-ups.

Compensation

Salary and incentives will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience and demonstrated performance. A performance-linked incentive structure may be offered against verified admissions and fee realisation.
