Admissions Counsellor – Parent Experience & Conversion

Organisation: Fountainhead Global School, Hyderabad 
Positions: 2 
Experience: 2–5 years 
Preferred Salary: ₹25,000–₹28,000 per month + performance incentives 
Location: Hyderabad | Campus-based 

Reporting To: Admissions / Business Development Head

About the Role 

We are looking for empathetic, articulate, and result-oriented Admissions Counsellors who can create a warm and professional experience for every prospective Fountainhead parent.

The role begins when an enquiry comes in and continues until the family makes an informed admission decision. The ideal candidate will be able to combine parent counselling, school knowledge, relationship building, and disciplined follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to all admission enquiries.
  • Understand the child’s age, current school, parent’s expectations, and admission requirements.
  • Explain Fountainhead’s educational philosophy, curriculum, and unique learning environment.
  • Conduct structured parent counselling conversations.
  • Invite qualified families for campus visits.
  • Conduct or coordinate campus tours.
  • Follow up with prospective families through calls and WhatsApp.
  • Maintain complete and accurate enquiry records.
  • Track every enquiry through the admissions funnel.
  • Identify reasons for non-conversion and re-engage suitable families.
  • Coordinate with academic, administration, and leadership teams when required.
  • Handle parent questions regarding curriculum, academics, activities, transport, fees, and admissions processes.
  • Ensure that every parent receives a professional and personalised experience.
  • Prepare daily and weekly enquiry/conversion reports.
  • Work closely with the field outreach team to convert leads generated through partner schools.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate:

  • Has excellent spoken and written English.
  • Can communicate comfortably in Telugu; Hindi is an advantage.
  • Is warm, mature, and confident with parents.
  • Is a good listener rather than an aggressive salesperson.
  • Can explain complex educational ideas simply.
  • Has strong follow-up discipline.
  • Is comfortable with targets and conversion metrics.
  • Can handle objections without becoming defensive.
  • Has good telephone etiquette.
  • Is comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel/Sheets, and CRM systems.
  • Has experience in school admissions, EdTech, premium education, counselling, hospitality, customer success, or consultative sales.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Fixed Salary: ₹25,000–₹28,000 fixed monthly salary, depending on experience and suitability.
  • Incentives: Performance incentives linked primarily to qualified campus visits, applications, and confirmed admissions.
