We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented
Physics Lab Assistant to support the smooth functioning of the Physics laboratory. The candidate will assist teachers and students during practical sessions and ensure proper maintenance, safety, and organization of lab equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the physics laboratory for practical classes and demonstrations.
- Assist teachers during physics practicals, experiments, and lab activities.
- Maintain, organize, and safely store laboratory apparatus, instruments, and materials.
- Ensure proper handling, calibration, and cleanliness of lab equipment.
- Maintain lab records, stock registers, and inventory of chemicals and apparatus.
- Follow and enforce laboratory safety rules and procedures.
- Report damaged or missing equipment and assist in procurement if required.
- Support students during experiments and help them understand lab procedures.
- Ensure the laboratory is clean, safe, and ready for use at all times.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Physics or relevant qualification.
- Prior experience as a Physics Lab Assistant in a school or college is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of physics experiments and laboratory safety norms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
