Job description

Due to higher levels of initial interest in our school, we are seeking to expand our teaching team. This includes with adding another Physics, Maths and Computer Science teachers to the growing Creators community.

Creators, a new cutting-edge STEM-focused school opening in Southern Spain for talented students. We are seeking an exceptional Physics/Maths/Computer Science teacher to join our Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science department. This pivotal role is crucial to our mission of fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit among our students and staff.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a contributing member of the team of innovative and reflective practitioners.
  • Teach classes in Physics/Maths/Computer Science, leading by example through your own dynamic approach to teaching and learning in your classroom.
  • Foster a passion for learning and expand knowledge and understanding in Physics/Maths/Computer Science.
  • Shape and implement a pioneering approach to education in these fields.
  • Create an environment that nurtures a spirit of inquiry and creativity.
  • Inspire students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, international competitions, Olympiads and scientific research projects.
  • Ensure true subject mastery and excellence in curriculum design.
  • Develop strategies to help talented students perform outstandingly in all academic and extracurricular endeavors.
  • Be actively involved in the co-curricular activities of the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physics/Maths/Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong experience in international schools, with experience of teaching British Curriculum Physics/Maths/Computer Science, including a track record of success in competitive international examinations.
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience in nurturing inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills, and their application in real-world contexts.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
  • Accomplished in using technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.
  • Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in pedagogy.
