Summary:
The Senior Secondary English Teacher (PGT) will deliver high-quality English language and literature instruction to students in grades 11 and 12. This role focuses on fostering critical thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep appreciation for literature. The ideal candidate will contribute to an enriching academic environment and prepare students for higher education.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Senior Secondary English (Grades 11-12).
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and co-curricular activities.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
Participate in professional development programs and school events.
Required Skills:
Master's degree in English Literature or a related field (PGT qualification).
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Senior Secondary English.
Excellent command of English language, grammar, and literature.
Strong pedagogical skills and classroom management abilities.
Proficiency in educational technology and online learning platforms.
Ability to inspire and motivate students effectively.
