Job description

The PGT Economics Teacher is responsible for teaching senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12), ensuring strong conceptual understanding of economic principles, and preparing students for board examinations while fostering analytical and critical thinking skills. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Teach Economics (Grades 11 & 12) with strong focus on Micro and Macroeconomics concepts.
  • Plan lessons, prepare study materials, and conduct assessments effectively.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide remedial and enrichment support.
  • Use real-life examples and current economic trends to simplify concepts.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, classroom management, and analytical skills.
  • Integrate digital tools and encourage critical thinking and active participation.
