Summary:

The Music Teacher will inspire students through comprehensive music education. This role involves developing musical talent and fostering a love for music across all age groups. The teacher will create and deliver engaging lessons and extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging music curriculum for diverse student levels.
  • Provide instruction in vocal techniques and various musical instruments.
  • Organize and direct student musical performances, concerts, and recitals.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate music into broader educational programs.
  • Maintain a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in music theory, history, and performance (instrumental/vocal).
  • Proven ability to teach and inspire students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creativity in lesson planning and activity development.
  • Relevant teaching certification or equivalent experience.
