Summary:

Skill Stork International School is seeking a passionate Primary Assistant Teacher (PYP). This role supports the lead teacher in delivering an engaging IB Primary Years Programme. You will help foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering daily classroom activities.
  • Support individual students and small groups with learning tasks and projects.
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials, resources, and learning stations.
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment.
  • Observe and document student progress under the guidance of the lead teacher.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong organizational and basic classroom management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with lead teachers and staff.
  • Foundational understanding of child development and learning processes.
