Job description

We are hiring passionate and dedicated PGT IT Teacher for our CBSE school.Our school prides itself on providing high-quality education and nurturing the holistic development of our students. Responsibilities:  

  • Teach Information Technology (IT) to students in grades 11-12, following the CBSE curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver lessons using various instructional strategies, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and student engagement.
  • Develop practical and theoretical knowledge in areas such as programming, databases, networking, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies as per CBSE guidelines.
  • Assess students’ progress through assignments, practical exams, projects, and board exam preparation.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students for higher education and career pathways in IT and related fields.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology into interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
  • Maintain and manage computer labs, ensuring proper use of systems and software.

 

  Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience teaching IT/Computer Science at the senior secondary level (Grades 11-12).
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with CBSE curriculum requirements.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and current IT tools/technologies.
