Job description

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry (Classes IX to XII)
Location: Arani, Tamil Nadu
Institution: Orange British Academy (CBSE)
Academic Year: 2026–2027

Core Responsibilities

  • Teach Chemistry for Classes IX, X, XI, and XII (CBSE)
  • Deliver concept-driven and syllabus-aligned instruction
  • Prepare students for Board examinations
  • Integrate NEET/JEE-oriented problem-solving
  • Conduct regular assessments, test series, and revision cycles
  • Prepare structured lesson plans and academic trackers
  • Handle laboratory sessions and maintain practical records as per CBSE norms
  • Analyze student performance data and implement corrective action plans
  • Participate in parent meetings and academic review sessions
  • Attend mandatory teacher training programs conducted by the school

Eligibility Criteria

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry (Mandatory)
  • B.Ed. (Mandatory as per CBSE norms)
  • 2–5 years of CBSE teaching experience preferred
  • Experience handling Board classes (X & XII) preferred
  • Familiarity with NEET/JEE syllabus integration is an added advantage
  • Strong English communication skills

Outstanding freshers with strong academic records and subject command may be considered after rigorous evaluation.

Salary Range

₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on qualification, experience, and demonstrated capability)
