Summary:


The HR Manager (School) will lead human resources functions, ensuring effective talent management and a positive work environment. This role supports the school's mission by attracting, developing, and retaining high-quality staff. The manager will oversee HR policies, procedures, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding for all school staff.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with school objectives and regulations.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including reviews and professional development plans.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and educational regulations.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processing in coordination with finance.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Facilitate staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills and career growth.


Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within an educational institution.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies and policies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
