Job description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate PGT History Teacher to teach senior secondary students and inspire interest in history through engaging and concept-based learning. The candidate should be well-versed with the CBSE curriculum and capable of preparing students for board examinations and competitive standards.   

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Teach History to Classes XI & XII as per the CBSE syllabus.
  • Plan and deliver effective, engaging, and student-centered lessons.
  • Prepare students for board examinations with a strong focus on conceptual clarity and answer-writing skills.
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and assessment materials.
  • Conduct regular tests, assignments, and evaluations; provide timely feedback.
  • Integrate maps, timelines, source-based questions, and case studies in teaching.
  • Maintain academic records and monitor student progress.
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
  • Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, curriculum changes, and assessment patterns.

 

  Eligibility & Qualifications:  

 

  • M.A. in History with B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
  • Prior experience as a PGT History Teacher preferred.
  • Strong command over subject content and exam pattern.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
