Job description

Summary:

The PE Coach will inspire students through physical activity. They will develop and implement engaging sports programs. This role promotes health, fitness, and teamwork across all grade levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons.
  • Instruct students in various sports, games, and fitness activities.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and supervise intramural sports and school-wide events.
  • Promote sportsmanship, fair play, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.


Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in teaching physical education or coaching youth sports.
  • Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness principles, and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Effective classroom management and organizational abilities.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
