Job description

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Secondary Chemistry Teacher (PGT) to join our faculty. This role involves delivering high-quality chemistry education to students in grades 11 and 12. The teacher will foster a stimulating learning environment and prepare students for academic success.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons for Senior Secondary students (Grades 11-12).
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and board requirements.
  • Design and administer assessments, providing constructive feedback to students.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and disciplined learning atmosphere.
  • Mentor students, offering academic guidance and support for their overall development.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff on academic planning and extracurricular activities.
  • Participate actively in professional development programs and school events.


Required Skills:

  • Master's degree in Chemistry along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven expertise in Senior Secondary Chemistry curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities and a passion for student success.
  • Proficiency in using modern educational technology and teaching aids.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students towards scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
