Job description

Summary:
The Senior Secondary English Teacher will educate students in classes XI and XII. This role involves delivering engaging lessons based on the prescribed curriculum. The teacher will foster critical thinking and prepare students for higher education.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive English language and literature instruction to senior secondary students (Grades XI-XII).
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Assess student progress regularly through assignments, projects, and examinations.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to enhance student learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure holistic student growth and academic success.
  • Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.


Required Skills:

  • Master's degree in English Literature or a related field with a B.Ed. qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the senior secondary and secondary level (PGT and TGT).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical methods and classroom management techniques.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
