Summary:

The Secondary Science Teacher (TGT) will deliver engaging science education to middle school students. This role involves fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts and promoting critical thinking. The teacher will create a dynamic learning environment that inspires curiosity and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for secondary grades.
  • Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
  • Facilitate engaging practical experiments and hands-on learning activities.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student development.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and professional development programs.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field with a B.Ed. qualification.
  • Proven expertise in teaching secondary level Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and connect with diverse student populations.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into the teaching and learning process.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
